I Would Do Anything For You - Foster The People
I’ve fallen in love and it’s better this time, than ever before.
Seeing these guys back home tonight was the perfect cap on my near-perfect weekend being in Victoria to perform in the Bike Ride festival. The past two and half days have been full of good beer, ice cream, food, cuddles, bike riding, sunshine and exploring with one of my favourite people.
I also had a chance run-in with the fucking fabulous Majestic Luxery-Legay on Saturday, and Dan Mangan saw my show on Sunday and laughed at our jokes and said it was “awesome.” He was at the closing night party and told me “nice work.” Wowee, that feels like recognition.
It was hell getting back to Vancouver today, but I had a good interview (to which I was only a little bit late) and then went to a solid concert that I didn’t even have to pay for. Thank you, Universe.
Hopefully this answers your question. I’ve always liked having short hair. Example: my grade 2 school picture.

I shaved my head when I was 13 and I went through patterns of growing it out to my shoulders and cutting it every year.
The last time I “committed” to growing it out was right before I started theatre school because I told myself I had to be a Girl Actor with Long Hair. But during my first semester, I discovered that I didn’t have to be Girl Actor with Long Hair, and cut it all off in front of my class during one of my final projects.
At this point, it’s just more comfortable for me to have short hair. I have no patience to grow it out and I wouldn’t know what to do with long hair anyway.
Don’t Move - Phantogram
Keep your body still, keep your body still.
Can’t get enough of this song lately.
6-week contact improv class that ends in a 4-day performance run. No formal dance training required.
